The Restoration Moves on and Walls Move Out!

Work is moving on at a pace with both external  repairs (when weather permits) and internal work. It’s colder than usual now the radiators have been removed, but at least the window has been boarded up! This is the central feature window in the lecture room, which the Edgar Wood Society are sponsoring to restore at a cost of over £3,000. If you would like  more information or contribute, get in touch at edgarwoodsociety@gmail.com Previous postings have shown scaffolding in position  in preparation for the ex-kitchen/cutting up room wall being removed. The wall has been removed and

gives an indication of the size of the proposed new community meeting room. The new kitchen will be situated on the other side of the hall for easy access and servicing.
